Motion in Stills

These photographs communicate motion even though each is a single photographic image. The challenge is capture movement with a longer exposure without overexposing the subject. The Korean dancers and drummers convey an almost mystical quality. Contemporary dancers Soyoko Knode and Jessica Liu wore tiny lights on their arms and created patterns with their movement.
